Addiction treatment does not end when a person undergoes detoxification and therapy. The real test begins later - when it is necessary to return to a familiar life, to society, to work, to family. This transition is often the most vulnerable stage.

At the Renaissance Centre in Poland, we pay special attention to the post-rehabilitation period, because it determines how sustainable the result will be. Our re-socialisation programme helps patients to gradually return to a full life, regain self-confidence and learn to live without addiction.

We believe that rehabilitation is not just a medical process, but a profound social and psychological revitalisation!

Stages of return to normal life

Resocialisation is the process of a person's adaptation to society after addiction treatment. It includes the restoration of communication, self-organisation, responsibility and decision-making skills. At Renaissance, this path is organised in stages so that the patient can gently integrate into real life without stress.

At this stage, the specialist together with the patient analyses what difficulties may arise after leaving the centre: fear of loneliness, anxiety, lack of work, conflicting relationships with loved ones.
A personalised action plan is formed: what to do, where to turn, what skills to develop.

Gradually the person returns to simple but important tasks - independent planning of the day, household chores, adherence to the regime.
We teach you to be responsible for yourself again: buying groceries, cooking, time management, building stress-free communication.

When the emotional state stabilises, the patient begins active interaction with the outside world: job search, restoration of professional skills, participation in volunteer projects.

The final stage is aimed at consolidating the results. The person already feels confident, knows how to avoid breakdowns, and is able to build relationships with others independently.

This step-by-step approach helps to avoid overload and relapse, and therefore helps to ensure long-term sobriety and stability.

Support in everyday life and employment

For a person in rehabilitation, household and work tasks can be a source of stress. Things that were familiar before - a trip to the shop, organising the day, communicating with the boss - are now perceived as a challenge.

At the Renaissance Centre, we focus on social and domestic support. The patient receives assistance in organising daily activities, financial literacy, time management and prioritisation.

Labour adaptation

Many patients face difficulties in finding employment after treatment. Some have had interruptions in work during their addiction, some have lost confidence.
We're helping:

Our professionals work with social organisations and partners who are willing to accept people after rehabilitation, creating a safe and supportive environment.

Working with attitudes and behaviour

One of the key elements of the programme is psychological re-socialisation - reassessment of attitudes, views and reactions.
Addiction forms a distorted perception of oneself and the world: a person often considers him/herself «weak», «guilty», «not deserving of a better life».

We help change that internal dialogue.

How the work goes:

Changing attitudes is the foundation on which a new life is built. Without it, any external changes will be short-lived.

Group therapy as a social tool

Group therapy is one of the most effective tools for re-socialisation.
It allows the person to learn to be part of a team again, to feel accepted and needed.

In Renaissance Centre groups, patients learn to communicate without evaluation or criticism, share experiences, and receive support and feedback.

Why it's important:

Group therapy also helps to practice real social situations: how to respond to criticism, how to ask for help, how to build trust.
These skills become indispensable when returning to normal life.

Why a re-socialisation programme is vital

Without support after treatment, a person is left alone with reality. Even after a successful course of rehabilitation, there are still risks of breakdown - due to stress, loneliness, old environment.

The Renaissance Centre's re-socialisation programme protects the patient from these risks by helping them:

Our mission is not just to cure addiction, but to return a person to a fulfilling life with a job, goals, interests and self-esteem!

At the Renaissance Centre in Poland, we create a safe space where everyone can recover, unlock their potential and build a new life!
We see our patients return to work, rebuild their families, and begin to help others.
This is the true meaning of re-socialisation - not just to go back, but to get back on your feet and live consciously!
